Anyone know of a dell management software for the PERC H310 mini raid controller? I have installed openmanage and do not see it in there. Anyone know why it is not in there? Or what software I need to manage it from windows 2008 r2 side.
Perc H310 Windows 10 Driver
Move the physical disks from PERC H310, H710, H710P, or H810 card to the PERC 9 series. Boot the system and import the foreign configuration that is detected. You can do one of the following:. Press to automatically import the foreign configuration. The PERC H310 is a pretty standard and widely available PCI express RAID controller. A few of my servers have come with them, and I never really ended up using them. It would appear as though this piece-of-crap RAID controller might actually be of some use after all! I went from queue depth 25 to 600 by flashing my Dell Perc H310 with IT Firmware. It's a cheap card bought on eBay, but can get some boost. Linux, or Windows Home. From the section 'To download and install the latest PERC H310 driver', I My pc is a dell precision T5600 and it has a perc h310. I am trying to install Windows 7 on a new recosgnised in the raid bios and set to non-raid. I have not been able to find the Could someone help hard drive but it is not recognised by the Windows installer.
Perc H310 Mini Driver
Please excuse my lack of knowledge on RAID Controllers.
I've just build a new workstation and since the motherboard is SATA II decided to buy a cheap PERC H310 Controller of Ebay and put 2x120GB Samsung Evo 850 SSD.
I thought that since the controller allows up to 6 Gb/s transfer (SATA III) I would be able to double it in RAID0.
The Problem is that BIOS recognises the Controller but the controller menu (Ctrl + R) doesn't recognise any of the drives (RAID enabled in the BIOS SATA options). I've tried to put the drivers on usb stick while installing windows 7 but the OS didn't recognise the drivers either.
Now I'm running the SSD's separately directly from the mobo in SATA II and after the OS install I'm trying to find any suitable drivers but all seems to give an 'not compatible with this system' or 'This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software' errors.
Is it the controller or I'm messing it up ?
If I won't be able to use the controller what other controllers would allow me to reach higher speeds than SATA II ?
